After brilliant World Cup and Super Rugby campaigns, ACT Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham says re-signing Wallabies star David Pocock long-term is a priority.

While Pocock says the Wallabies' World Cup campaign was the most enjoyable experience of his international career, he still needs time to consider whether he wants to push on towards the next World Cup in Japan in 2019.

Pocock, Wallabies and Brumbies captain Stephen Moore and prop Scott Sio are all off contract at the end of 2016, along with Christian Lealiifano, Ben Alexander and Joe Tomane.

Moore's leadership helped galvanise the Wallabies group after the turmoil of last year, Pocock stood out as arguably the best player at the World Cup and Sio announced himself as a crucial cog in the Australian scrum.
