Karmichael Hunt to miss Bledisloe Cup opener

As if it wasn’t already difficult enough, the Wallabies will now be without inside-centre Karmichael Hunt for next month’s Bledisloe Cup opener against New Zealand.

Hunt has been ruled out for eight weeks due to syndesmosis in his ankle.

The 30-year-old will aim to return for Australia’s tour of South Africa in two months time.

Meanwhile, Eto Nabuli will also miss the Bledisloe Cup opener, also due to an ankle injury.
