The Lions will host the 2017 Super Rugby final, booking their spot in the big dance after a stunning comeback over the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes led 22-3 at Emirates Airlines Park, before the Lions launched a brilliant comeback, to record an incredible 44-29 win.

The Lions, who finished first after the regular season, will host the Crusaders in Johannesburg, who recorded a 27-13 win over the Chiefs in Christchurch.

Crusaders winger Seta Tamanivalu scored two crucial tries, as his side never looked troubled, leading for the entire match.

The final will be played on Sunday at 12am AEST.
