O’Connor charged by French Police

Former Wallaby James O’Connor has been charged with possession of cocaine by French Police following his arrest on the weekend, however, he looks set to escape with a fine.

However, former All Black Ali Williams, who was arrested with O’Connor, faces a more serious charge of buying cocaine and will face court at a later date.

The pair were allegedly found in possession of 2.4 grams of cocaine outside a nightclub near the Champs Elysees on the weekend.

The club is yet to announce what impact the charge will have on O’Connor’s contract.
