Colby Fainga’a has signed a two-year contract extension with the Melbourne Rebels, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2018 season.
The 24-year-old has made 65 appearances for the Rebels since joining the club in 2014.
“It was an easy decision for me to extend my time with the Rebels for another two years, I’m settled in Melbourne and enjoying my time here,” Fainga’a said.
“The club is full of quality players, there’s so much competition for positions in the Rebels backrow which is really pushing all of us to become better and driving me to constantly lift my game.”
Melbourne take on the Western Force at NIB Stadium on Saturday night to kick off their 2016 Super Rugby campaign.
