Wallaby Matt Toomau could miss the rest of The Rugby Championship after suffering a concussion against the All Blacks last weekend.

Toomau was concussed during the Wallabies' loss to the All Blacks in Sydney, and the Aussies are set to take a cautious approach to protect him from long lasting after effects.

He missed Saturday's match with New Zealand and will miss Tets against South Africa and Argentina in September and may even miss both Tests in October.

The concussion in Sydney was his fourth in three seasons.
